Optimum battery charging while driving

The Schaudt Booster WA 1215545 is used for optimal charging of lead-acid, lead-gel, AGM and lithium batteries while driving in vehicles with 12 V systems (e.g. motorhomes).

The booster is a clocked up/down converter that compensates for fluctuating alternator voltage and provides a high charging current.

The connected secondary battery should have a capacity of min. 80 Ah. It is charged independently of the alternator voltage. When the enclosed battery temperature sensor is connected, the charging voltages are adapted to the battery temperature. Switchover to charge retention is current-dependent and automatic.

When commissioning the charge booster for the first time, changing the battery type or retrofitting with accessories, settings must be made once, otherwise no further settings are required during use.

Since the booster has a very high efficiency, it has a compact and lightweight design. The built-in fan is very quiet and only runs at high power levels.
