A microprocessor forms the heart of the inverter. This control centre monitors the most important parameters of the of the electronic system, such as the input voltage and frequency. This ensures constant stability of the output voltage.

Especially with loads that require a high inrush current, the start does not always run smoothly. For this reason, the SW-300 is designed to provide twice the continuous output power for short periods.

Note: To determine the appropriate inverter, you will need your total power requirement. This is the sum of the power (W or VA) of the individual loads. We recommend that you allow for a power reserve of 30 - 40 % upwards.

The SW inverter is also equipped with the power start function.

Advantage: loads with a high inrush or starting current are controlled several times in quick succession with the maximum output power of the inverter, thus facilitating reliable start-up of powerful loads.

The sine wave inverters meet the legal requirements of the ECE regulations and therefore have the E-certification. They are suitable for permanent installation in all vehicles with road approval, such as passenger cars, utility vehicles or other vehicles with 24 V on-board voltage.

IVT inverters of the SW series operate absolutely reliably and safely even under the toughest conditions. As standard, they are protected against overload, short circuit and overheating. An imminent deep discharge of the battery is indicated by optical prewarning (LED) and prevented by automatic shutdown.

Output socket suitable for plug type: F, C and C
The IVT SW-300 sine wave inverter is equipped with two output sockets as standard.

A 230 V socket outlet with earthing contact, suitable for plug types C (Euro plug) and F (Schuko plug®), and a Euro socket outlet (plug type C) are available for drawing current.

Conventional inverters are often equipped with large ring transformers. As a result, these are heavy and unwieldy. In contrast, the microprocessor-controlled IVT inverters operate digitally thanks to innovative technology: large, heavy components are eliminated and replaced by small and powerful components.

The valuable inner workings of the inverter are protected by a sturdy housing. The SW series inverters can be used as a stand-alone unit or mounted on a wall.

An additional connection socket is available for connecting an external On/Off switch. A suitable plug with open ends for soldering on a switch is included in the delivery.

For safe and fault-free operation of the SW inverters, we recommend the use of the original IVT connection cables.

These are precisely fitted to the respective inverter in terms of conductor cross-section and cable length. The high-quality production of our connection cables guarantees a particularly long service life even under high loads.

The cable set is already pre-assembled with matching ring lugs and wire end ferrules for connection to the battery and the inverter. All original IVT connection cables are delivered including fuse holder and 200 A fuse.
